Flowers and Petals
The Flowers are the team leaders; respect them even though they are not on your team. Likewise, Flowers, respect your petals regardless, were all here to make friends, not foes Oyabun: The leader; all the Flowers respect him and are directly under his control, he is the shadowy figure that controls the Hana-gumi from the background. Only the Flowers know the identity of the Oyabun. He is also known to be extremely wealthy, and thus can provide the very best for the Hana-gumi. Flowers: The team leaders; they are to maintain the teams, take care of missions and fight alongside if the need be. They also take charge of important tasks, like pay rolls, meetings and other tasks. They are far more powerful than most of their Petals, but this is to be expected. Its also known on occasion that if the employer can pay, all leaders (Except The White Lotus team, whom prefers to remain as the intelligence) fight as a team, and the results have known to be quite devastating. Petals: The fighters/ members (Known usually as Kobun); they make up the majority of the Hana-gumi. They supply the bulk of the force, and their known numbers have been approximately 300, give or take. When they join the Hana-gumi, their skills are tested as a fighter. Should they succeed, they may be allowed/ encouraged to train under the several weapons and martial arts masters the Hana-gumi has under their pay roll (These are merely side-characters; they don't duel). The Hana-gumi also has a number of weapon and armor smiths under their disposal, easily able to fix most weapons and armor within days (Again, only side characters). The petals will specialize in team attacks; the tactics of said attacks are different per squad, however. Membership into the Hana-Gumi Once they join the SDL; the Hana-gumi will have a temporary open member policy; almost anyone can become a Petal if they choose (and abide by the guidelines). This will last for 2-3 months; by then the following membership requirements will be put into place; 1.) Just apply and fill the 3rd requirement; we're not picky at the moment :3. Also; The Black Rose team is only for the "Elite" however, so you will be required to either duel me or if I can see you're dedicated enough to your art (And are at least somewhat decent) then you're more than welcome in. 2.) To become a Flower; one must become a Petal; after 2 months, and if they are unhappy with how their team is being lead, they may challenge their leader to a match. If the leader accepts; then the winner of the duel will be crowned the new Flower; whilst the loser becomes a Petal. Characters that join a team MUST be in correct color; just a majority, your OC doesnt have to be completely drabbed out in their teams color (Unless you want to About the use of separate teams The use of separate teams within the Hana-gumi in an interesting one; this allows for more team duels to take place and generally more fun for all those involved. Summary for current teams Red: A violent; blood thirsty squad; easily the second most powerful next to the Black team. Orange: A creative, mischievous squad; researches along side the Purple team to make new weapons/ technology for the Hana-gumi. Yellow: A happy; cheery squad; protects their friends and allies to their last breath. Green: A weird; funny squad; usually uses odd fighting styles or are just plain odd. Blue: A calm; easy going squad; usually work along side the Yellow Sunflowers. Purple: A secretive, mysterious squad; responsible for the manufacture of medicine and other chemical/ compounds. Also acts as the medical squad for the Hana-gumi. White: A stealthy; intellectual squad; responsible for intelligence gathering. Black: A serious; deadly squad; the Spec Ops of the Hana-gumi; easily the most powerful team. Goals Mainly team duels; creating a good dueling environment with the allowance of (positive and negative) critique within our ranks to help improve our members, promoting team work and being the best damn team in SDL! Background story Formed around about 1412 by the legendary Golden Samurai, the Hana-gumi was once the most respected yakuza in all of Nippon; it charged its prices fairly and provided quality service to those whom could pay. It was thought that somewhere along the line the Hana-gumi became powerful enough to overpower the current Emperor, but of course this never happened. Gradually, however, people took it upon themselves to defend their farms and homes, thus reducing (But not eliminating) the Hana-gumis vast wealth. Now onto the 4th generation, the yakuzas motives have become obscured by its leaders mystery. Now delving into new technology, drugs and various other illicit activities to keep up its huge cash flow, the Hana-gumi has joined the SDL to hopefully regain some of its lost honor, gain some new fighters and for other mysterious motives Timeline of events 1412: Hana-gumi established by the "Golden" Samurai and his champions. HQ set up in the city now known as Sendai. 1431: The battle of Sendai Castle begins; first time the Hana-gumi are sent out to fight. The battle ended shortly in one week. 1456: Hana-gumi begin recruiting more members; at times are sent out by different parties to fight due to the number and quality. 1467: Hana-gumi at the height of power; owns enough men to be declared an army. 1501: 3rd generation son of the Golden Samurai comes to power; immediately declares more illicit activities to take place. 1505: Decline of power; Hana-gumi begins to lose ground as members leave out of disgust at the Oyabun's greed. 1510: Oyabun killed; head taken over by a distant nephew of the Golden Samurai. Begins to rebuild the damage done to their reputation and their power. Current: Oyabun still working to restore their honor and respect in Nippon, having recruited the "original" 10 to fight for him; enters the SDL to search for more members. I'm looking forward to seeing the Hana-Gumi's rise through the team ranks.

My only qritique is that maybe you should consider getting rid of the '3D' effect that the receding text creates. Japan was know for it's incredibly 2D perception of artwork, and a depth of field dosn't really help portay that.
It is SDL though, so keep that in mind too -_^"
